Have you ever wanted to keep track of things to do in games you are playing? Wanted to keep better track of your overall backlog? Maybe just organize some information related to games in one spot? If such things apply, maybe my Organizer app could help you.

At its core, you can save lists of games in separate files with the app, how much content you fill the games with is up to you. The app gives you quite a few options in terms of content / data to add to each game, starting with basic things like the release year, developer, publisher, genres, platforms etc.

Filling the Game List

You have 2 options to add games to your list

  • Quick-Add (in the main window above the list): By either clicking on the downward arrow left of the “Quick-Add Game” text or pressing the shortcut Ctrl+G you expand the section to quickly add games to the list. Here you can enter the name of a game that you want to add to the list. Pressing the Enter key or the “Add” button to the right then adds the game.
  • Add multiple games in one go: by pressing the “Add Games” button above the game list, you open the “Add Games” window. Here you can input a list of games and add them with a pre-set genre, platform, year and progress state.

Editing Games

After adding games to your list, you can fill out / add additional information by double clicking a game. This opens the edit window for that game.
This window has several sections:

  • Game Info (this first tab contains the main data for the game that you can fill out (e.g. your progress, description, the year the game was released…))
  • Personal Info (e.g. your rating for the game, your personal best time…)
  • Content Info (free-form information if you want to keep track of scenarios, protagonists and such)
  • Events (free-form information like speed-run events the game was featured in or exhibitions like E3 the game was shown at)
  • Trivia (free-form information that you think can be interesting, maybe the game has some easter eggs or it was renamed during development…)
  • Magazine Info (e.g. reviews / previews)
  • Progress (here you can keep track of your progress in the game in detail, from beating levels to unlocking characters, whatever tickles your fancy)
